Officers investigating a reported burglary at the Manston Business Park where firearms were stolen are seeking private CCTV footage.
The incident took place at around 9pm on Saturday 24 January and a number of licenced firearms have been reported as stolen.
Patrols attended the scene, and enquiries are ongoing. Two men aged 38 and 66 from Faversham have been arrested in connection with the incident and have since been bailed.
Officers are particularly interested in CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of Minster Road and The Street, Manston, between 6pm and 10pm on Saturday 24 January.

Detective Chief Inspector Ricky Bassan said: “Burglaries of this nature are exceptionally rare, and we are asking the public to support our ongoing investigation.
“Any footage or information, no matter how small it may seem, could prove invaluable.
“We recognise that, given the items taken, this incident may cause concern within the community. At this stage, there is nothing to indicate any risk to the wider public, nor any evidence to suggest that the burglary is linked to organised criminal activity.”
Surely security where companies are holding firearms are being held should be paramount? Bad enough there are stores selling these repulsive killing machines for ‘sport & leisure’ without any scumbag being able to break in & take them.
And then the gun thieves get released on bail because there is no danger to the public.
What do thieves usually do with guns ? They are used for other, more serious and potentially life threatening activity !
If the guns were required for a lawful purpose by a person without a criminal record, they could have simply been purchased over the counter.
Can I assume by the picture the police car is parked outside the business including the business name , if so now the whole of Thanet and beyond now know firearms are stored there and where to find them.
No it is parked near the unit that was burgled and that unit sells firearms amongst other things which it advertises

A standard unlicensed air rifle can have a muzzle energy upto 16 joules.
So the items stolen can come from a very wide range of firearms.
Cars, alcohol and illegal drugs kill and maim far more people (either used as weapons or as a result of actions to aquire them)than legally held firearms in the uk.
Some people have very strange reactions to items that are statistically very unlikely to ever do them any harm.
Exactly that Mrs Ben Dover you think that they would have 24/7 patrolling along with their own cctv and they probably got summing planned themselves like a big heist hence reporting them missing it happens or why else would they not have their own cctv or security and police say nothing to concerning serious will they say that if someone gets seriously hurt and they should be held responsible too if anything comes of it or hurt
