An investigation is underway after a man was assaulted and robbed of his phone in Cliftonville yesterday (January 14).
Kent Police was called just after 6.20pm to the reported robbery in Edgar Road.
The victim, a man in his 30s, reported that he was assaulted by two people who stole his phone and a quantity of cash.
Officers attended along with paramedics. The man was treated at the scene before being taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.
There have been no arrests at this stage and an investigation is underway. Anyone with information that may assist should call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/7355/26.

We were informed it was a stabbing near the entrance to the Glenwood Hotel for asylum seekers. We saw police and ambulances and the road was taped off. Officers were trying to move any public away.
