The Wasteland Project skateboarding, exhibition and art event to open at former Margate Primark

Skateboarding, art workshops, coaching, a drone photo exhibition and more will open at the former Primark building in Margate tomorrow (November 27).

The Wasteland Project, organised by SkatePharm owner Nic Powley and team along with Kane McArthur’s Scorcha Skate School, will also feature a temporary skate park, music, skate videos and drinks.

Entry is free but donations are encouraged, with proceeds going to Margate Skateboard Club and the new skatepark build in Westgate.

Saturday and Sunday, from 11am, will feature sticker making fun with Jon Horner; from 2pm on Sunday there will be screen printing with Adam Hogarth and Dark Arts; Skate Guru drone photography across the event and more.

There will be skateboard coaching with Scorcha Skate School, that range from Lil Rippers to adult lessons and tasters.
