Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a garden fire that had spread to outbuildings in Margate this afternoon (March 15).
Two crews attended the scene at the rear of Cowley Rise.
A KFRS spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 1.13pm to reports of a garden fire which had spread to a fence and various outbuildings in an area behind Cowley Rise, Margate.
“Two fire engines attended, and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
“There were no reported injuries, and the cause is not yet known.”
Crews finished at the scene at 1.42pm.
Didn’t even bring their washing in !!
That was dangerous though, was it left unattended? that’s usually when fires spread.
