Kent Police officers are appealing for information after a driver refused to stop for police and then crashed into a van in Ramsgate before fleeing the scene.
Prior to the crash Kent Police was called to a report that a man had made threats to others during a disturbance in Chandos Road, Broadstairs, shortly before 10pm on Saturday 8 March.

A police spokesperson said: “Later the same evening, a vehicle linked the incident was seen in Ramsgate and failed to stop for officers when requested to do so.
“The vehicle collided with a parked van in Bellevue Avenue before it was stopped nearby.
“A 27 year old man, who is believed to have been a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested on suspicion of affray and released while enquiries to identify the driver continue.”

The point is that they provide my income. If there is no income there is no news website. As the majority of ads are underneath the actual articles it does not interfere with people reading them.
The same reason television channels & newspapers run commercials. Do you think this website would exist without them? I see them at the sides-so no idea how that would effect anybody seeing the comments section.

You’re right Peter ,, we’re getting a free news paper through the adds, and Kathy does a brilliant job reporting and editing the stories that really matter to us Thanet residents.
