British Transport Police, assisted by Kent Police, were called to Ramsgate Railway Station on Friday night {November 29} after reports of a man assaulting station staff.
Officers were called at 8.40pm and a man was arrested on suspicion of two assaults and a futher two attacks on emergency workers.
He was also arrested as he was wanted for recall to prison.
A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Ramsgate railway station at around 8.40pm on 29 November to reports of a man assaulting rail staff.
“Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of common assault and two counts of assault of an emergency worker.
“He was further arrested for recall to prison and taken to police custody.”
His mother should’ve swallowed.

8:40pm was a lot later than 11:07am that day.
That doesn’t change my point that you aren’t aware of the full facts when you accuse people who actually work for a living by doing a dangerous job of humilating “vulnerable fare dodgers”.
I used the words “it looked like”. That’s an observation not an accusation. And for the record, when I asked an officer on Thursday whether there’d been an incident he replied “no”. Totally different day, totally different situation from Friday’s nasty incident.
