The team at Kings Barbers Birchington have won Barber Shop of the Year at the British Hair and Beauty Awards.
Kings barber shop in Station Road opened in May last year and has proved to be a hit with customers.
The salon offers cuts, shaves, hot towel and massage and has a great ‘yellow digger’ chair for the little ones.
It is owned by Enver Yeshilbulut and run by business partner Cetin, best known as Jimmy, who are both from Cyprus.
Enver, 39, also has barber shops in Deal-where he lives- and Aylesham. He has been a barber for nearly 20 years, has previously won the best barber title three times and also a best shave title. He has 18 barbers across his three shops.
Enver, Jimmy and the team say the award marks a ‘significant milestone’ for the business.

Winners were decided by a panel of five judges who independently scored each of the finalists with those with the highest collective score taking the title.
To celebrate the achievement, Kings Barbers Birchington will be offering £5 off any haircut and hot towel shave on October 8-9.
