Margate woman due in court on theft charges

A woman will appear in court next month after being charged for theft offences from a car and Morrison’s supermarket in Margate.

As part of an investigation by Kent Police into thefts in the district, officers arrested and charged Diana Mikova on Thursday 22 August with three offences.

She is suspected of stealing a jacket worth £185 from a vehicle in Margate’s High Street on 16 June. She is also accused of stealing from Morrison’s in College Walk, Margate, on two occasions, on 27 July and 5 August. Items reported stolen were said to be worth an estimated  total of £205.

The 27-year-old of New Cross Street, Margate, was released on bail to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 5 September.
