Police patrols and armed officers were called to King Street in Ramsgate last night (May 29) to reports of a man making threats with a weapon.
Officers attended at around 8.45pm. A 33-year-old man was arrested and a search was carried out at a property.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “At around 8.45pm on Wednesday 29 May, patrols, including firearms officers, attended King Street, Ramsgate following reports of a man making threats with a weapon.
“A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and officers completed a search at a nearby address.”
A man remains in custody.
