Crowds have enjoyed events on the isle this weekend, including the Malle Mile in Margate and Ramsgate’s Ellington Park May Fair.
Despite the gloomy weather Saturday, people still turned out to watch the racing on Margate Main Sands as The Malle Mile Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary.
Motorcycles raced head to head on the Margate Sands. Custom, classic and electric motorcycles were on view .
There have also been after parties, live music, DJs and bands across the two days.
Today, families enjoyed the glorious weather with crowds attending both the Malle Mile and the annual Ellington Park May Fair.
The fair, hosted by The Friends of Ellington Park and possibly one of the biggest to date, had a funfair, live music, classic car, the popular bookshop and a beer tent.
Bandstand entertainment included Phat Gandalph, Akadem, Steve Warrington, Margate Jetsetters and The Gospel Choir. There were also dozens of stalls selling everything from fudge to doorstops and many sharing the work of local groups and charities.
