A magician who has supported musicians from Paul Weller, The Libertines and Pete Doherty and the Brian Jonestown massacre is heading to Margate next month.
The Magic Mod – aka Ben Taylor -will make his third appearance on February 24 at The Albion Rooms in Cliftonville with support from musician Kevin Iverson
He is no stranger to Margate having previously performed at the now-shut Winter Gardens on tour with Albion Rooms owners, The Libertines
The Magic Mod says he first got into the art of magic at the age of six when his mum and dad bought him a Paul Daniels’ magic set. As a youngster he tried to learn a trick every day and turned professional when he was 20.
The 18+ show at The Albion Rooms, in The Wasteland bar, starts at 7.30pm, Magic Mod at 8.15pm. Tickets are £14.69 and can be bought via Dice here
