Performance, music and workshops at the Making More Waves Festival

Alice in VR Wonderland by the Jasmin Vardimon Company

Performance music and workshops will take place from tomorrow (November 10) for the Making More Waves Festival.

The festival organised by performance company Looping the Loop in partnership with Ark in Cliftonville, is a celebration of performance created in East Kent.

It will feature some of the region’s best-loved creatives as well as emerging performers trying out new work. There will also be workshops and professional development opportunities.
All events are taking place at ARK, based at the former Shul in Albion Road, except online workshops.

The launch takes place tomorrow at 7.30pm and is hosted by Amber Topaz.

On Saturday an East Kent Scratch Performances Showcase will take place with Tim Larkfield, Folkestone Performing Arts Company, Sarah Tait, and Ruby Tipple.

Get a sneak preview of fresh performances in all stages of development, and share your thoughts, feedback, and insights.

On Friday, November 17 there will be a performance of Alice in VR Wonderland by the Jasmin Vardimon Company
