Three thousand football fans will pack out the WW Martin Stadium tomorrow (November 4) as Ramsgate FC take on Woking in the 1st round tie of the Emirates FA Cup.

The sold out match is a landmark game for Rams who have only reached this point on two occasions before – being away at Watford in 1955 and Nuneaton in 2005. Rams narrowly lost both those matches but hopes are high that the team  can secure a victory over Woking.

The first round proper of the FA Cup has never been hosted at Ramsgate before.

Ramsgate are in fifth-place in the Isthmian League South East Division table with 15 points from their six games.  Their six match unbeaten run was ended by Hythe this week. Woking are in 12th place in the Vanarama National League table with 22 points from 18 games, some 39 places above Ramsgate.

The match at the WW Martin Stadium, Prices Avenue, kicks off at 3pm.

There is no parking at the stadium. Fans park opens at 11am.
