St Joseph’s primary in Broadstairs has held its first charity event of the year with Lydia from Year 6 and her mum Amanda organising a school cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Care.
Children were invited to dress in green for the day and donate either cakes for the after school sale or a monetary contribution.
A school spokesperson said: “Through the generosity of our parents and children we raised a total of £260 for this deserving charity. Thank you to everyone who made the event a huge success.”
