Jo said: “Day will be a celebration of all things Ramsgate: all our talent will meet in the middle of town from 10-5pm.

“For musical entertainment we have Gadzukes, Wyat riot, Samba Ya Wantsum, Luke Dorman, Daisy Doman and Wayne Jones. We have the Screaming Marie’s from Screaming Alley dancing for you.

“For children we have various making workshops, a hula hooper circus trainer called thisbeanspins plus a pottery throw down.

“We will be putting a shout out to all those 80s chicks who danced in front of the mirror and quite fancy themselves as a Kate Bush to come along in a red dress and do Wuthering Heights. As if that wasn’t enough we have Sea Scrub sauna coming along to bring some sweaty heat to Ramsgate!”

Ramsgate Nordic Walking will also be at the event and those attending are advised to

keep all receipts from partaking businesses for a raffle at the end.

There will also be an after party at Penelope’s in Harbour Street and special Ramsgate cocktail at Seabird bar and café, (The Broadway) Addington Street.
