Still time to catch I Love You David Bailey exhibition by Thanet photographer Sue Fewings

There is still time to venture off the isle and catch the last couple of days of an exhibition by Thanet photographer Sue Fewings.

Sue lives in Westgate after moving from London to Thanet in 1999. Her exhibition I Love You David Bailey is currently on show at Beach Creative, Beach Street, Herne Bay.

She said: “I have admired David Bailey’s photography since I was a teenager. The title “I Love You David Bailey” came to me a few years ago and this year I was able to exhibit my own portraits inspired by his work, particularly his most iconic shots of Jean Shrimpton, Mick Jagger and the Kray twins to name but a few.

“My own portraits are of people I know and were mostly all shot in my studio in Margate. I was lucky to have a talented team – Denise Bottali, Richard Tebutt-Ford and Steve Evans – to work with on this project along with the people that feature in my exhibition.”

“I Love You David Bailey” is showing until the 27th July. Opening hours 10am-4pm.
