A person sadly died in an incident at Broadstairs railway station on Saturday (July 8).
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the station just after 5pm to reports of a person on the track.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Broadstairs station at 5.14pm on 8 July following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Could this have been prevented if the station had been staffed?
