Margate photographer Frank Leppard shares ‘A Few Snaps’ at Pharmacy Gallery exhibition

A Few Snaps by Frank Leppard

A Margate photographer who has captured everything from film stars to crowded beaches, and emergency incidents to community events and celebrations,  is exhibiting some of his work from tomorrow (June 17).

Dad-of-one and grandad-of-two Frank Leppard, whose images often feature daughter Vanessa and granddaughters Daisy and Lilly, shares A Few Snaps at Pharmacy Gallery in Market Place, Margate.

The exhibition features 30 photos taken around the isle, such as Ramsgate Boating Pool and the Antony Gormley ‘man’ sculpture.

Frank says the display celebrates his Kent photographer of the year win at the Kent Press and Broadcast Awards last year.

He added: “I have just chosen a few popular snaps including one from the Empire of Light filming and another that won a spot at Turner Contemporary.”

The photos are also for sale with all framed works £80 and a selection of signed prints at £10 each.

The Pharmacy Gallery at 16 Market Place is open from 11am to 5pm and A Few Snaps is on show for the next two weeks.
