Callis Grange eco-committee

Callis Grange Nursery and Infant School in Broadstairs is celebrating after being reaccredited with and Eco School’s Green Flag award with distinction.

Eco-leader Lara Barker, the eco-committee and all the staff and children have worked hard over the year to continue helping the local environment.

The Eco School’s team congratulated Callis Grange on the way their Eco-Schools work is guiding pupils to be curious, caring and compassionate young eco-citizens.

The team also loved how diligently Callis Grange has communicated  Eco-Schools activity across and beyond their setting through their newsletters, assemblies and collaborations with local landscapers and charities.

The Eco Schools team said Callis Grange’s achievements this year have been fantastic and they have no doubt that they have and will continue to equip their young pupils with the passion and confidence to take the eco-message beyond the school gates and into their homes.

Keep Britain Tidy is the operator of Eco-Schools England. Green Flag status needs to be renewed each academic year.
