Westgate mum takes the plunge to open Novo Bridal in Westbrook

Chloe has opened Novo Bridal

A Westgate mum-of-two says business has ‘gone crazy’ at her new bridal shop in Westbrook.

Chloe Endicott launched her venture Novo Bridal last December with an official opening in January.

Chloe, who has a background in the wedding and events industry, says she was prompted to go it alone by a desire to offer brides top quality at affordable prices.

The 31-year-old, who named the business after daughters Ocean, 12, and Nova, 4, was backed by dad Karl and her partner Josh and her brothers pitched in to decorate the Canterbury Road shop.

She said: “It was scary and I’m still scared but the business has just gone crazy. I’ve been marketing it and doing wedding fairs and using facebook and Instagram and everyone has really come onboard and there has been lots of support from other local companies.

“I worked in a bridal shop for quite a long time and then I did wedding events. I just love doing it.

“Novo Bridal has a really chilled and relaxed environment with beautiful designer gowns at amazing prices. We are laid back so there are no pushy sales.

“I love sharing the journey that is such an important part of someone’s life. I get to meet brides and their mums and sisters and dads, I love it.”

Novo Bridal stocks  a Curve collection, Tiffany’s, discontinued and pre-loved gowns as well as all the necessary accessories. Appointments can be made but walk-ins are also catered for.

A bridesmaid line will be introduced in April and new stock is continually coming in with lots from local suppliers.

Novo Bridal is at 48 Canterbury Road, Westbrook
