Margate FC has parted ways with first team manager Andy Drury just eight months after he was appointed.
Drury replaced Jay Saunders who had held the role since 2019. Saunders moved to a post with Tonbridge Angels.
A statement from Margate FC says: “The Club has placed Reece Prestedge and Ben Greenhalgh in interim charge.
“The Club will make no further comment at this stage.”
Drury’s exit followed another loss for Margate FC on Boxing Day against Cray Wanderers, where the Blues suffered a 3-0 defeat.
Margate is due to host host Whitehawk in the Velocity Cup on Tuesday 10th January. The scheduled Isthmian Premier League fixture away at Kingstonian which was due to take place on Wednesday 8th February 2023 will now take place on Wednesday 1st February 2023 with kick-off at 7:45pm.
