Ramsgate Music Hall -Luke J Dorman launch event

A launch for the award winning ‘Daylight’ music video, as awarded from the Ramsgate International TV & Music Awards, taking place September 24 from 7.30pm.

Luke will showcase his new material for next year alongside his band of talented stars and has a few other little treats to share…

Luke J Dorman has been a self taught musician in Broadstairs since playing a one off gig with Doug Hudsons folk outfit Hot Rats at a packed The Albert pub during a Broadstairs Folk Week, when he was just 13 years old.

He’s regularly played in local cover bands on the local circuit. Namely Surf Dude Grandad and the aptly named The Tourists, along with releasing his first solo album back in 2010, Luke J Dorman and The Dark Horses.

This was a huge success locally, and he went on to form and start the Local originals band Meister. Here his world was opened up to touring and playing festivals and after 6 years the band has been put on hold due to members leaving and family lives taking lead. Since the band has been on hold, Luke has been working on his back catalogue of songs and accompanying local musicians to work on these with him.
