A cyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Cliftonville on Saturday evening (September 10).
Kent Police was called just before 8pm to Zion Place/Northdown Road, close to Aldi, following reports of the collision.
Officers attended along with SECAMB and one man, the cyclist, was taken to hospital.
A SECAMB spokesperson said: “One ambulance crew attended the scene and the cyclist was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.”
I had some idiot cut across me turning into Zion Place that afternoon. It was a close call.
It’s the car driver’s fault. Always is.
Hard to believe as Albanians are such great drivers especially when inebriated.
That should read; A SECAMB spokesperson said: “One ambulance crew attended the scene around 5 hours later”
