Rock quartet Kodaline scheduled to gig in Margate

This gig has been postponed due to ill health.

A statement from Kodaline says: “We are very sorry to announce that our show in Margate tonight and Southampton tomorrow are going to be postponed due to Steve being too ill to perform. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, we are working with our team to get both dates rescheduled ASAP including the Kingston show. As always refunds are available from point of purchase.”

Elsewhere will present a live, intimate performance with Kodaline at The Ballroom, Dreamland on Monday, September 26.

The special performance is to celebrate the release of the band’s new live album ‘Our Roots Run Deep’.

Dublin -based modern rock quartet Kodaline specialise in guitar rock that’s drawn comparisons to Coldplay, Keane, U2 and Oasis. Kodaline released their debut album, ‘In a Perfect World’, in June 2013, which was preceded by the singles High Hopes and Love Like This. The album went platinum twice in Ireland and gold in Britain.

The new album ‘Our Roots Run Deep’ was recorded at the band’s sold out Olympia Theatre show in Dublin in early March 2022. The first two singles ‘Wherever You Are’ and ‘Brother’ were released over the course of June and July and are available to stream now. The vinyl pressings come on limited edition maroon vinyl, as well as transparent cream vinyl.
