The Kent Country Show is heading to Quex Park

The Kent Country Show is returning to Quex Park in Birchington this month.

The event, on August 28-29, will feature Jonathan Marshall from Game of Thrones, the fabulous Barrel Racing Team, Inspire Motorbike and BMX Stunt Team, the Dog and Duck Show, Falconry displays by Angie and Rick, Gundog displays and a History Revisited village.

There will also be heavy horse displays, vintage and steam and a Festival of Cars.

For foodies there will be cookery demonstrations throughout the day and exhibitors with an array of quality products for sale.

Magic shows will be running throughout the day and the touring Buccaneers Musical – a magical pirate show- will host performances four times daily. Wrestling and live music will also be on offer.

We Love Dogs charity fun dog show will feature some 20 dog classes, along with a pedigree dog show, owner and celebrity lookalike competition, dog agility, Dogs Have Got Talent, flyball and  more. We Love Dogs raised close to £18,000 for charity in 2021.

For younger visitors there will be Stormtroopers and Superheroes to meet and have a photo with, puppet shows, Punch and Judy, clowns, Farmer Gemma’s Petting Farm, donkey rides and more.

Goods can also be bought from more than 20 rural crafters demonstrating and selling at the show. Visitors can also try out their archery skills.

The Kent Country Show runs from 10am – 5pm on Sunday August 28th and Monday, August 29 at Quex Park, Park Lane, Birchington.
