Carl’s surreal art paintings are fresh and inspiring, he uses symmetry and silhouette in dream landscapes that compare well to even the established masters of the genre. He needs people to appreciate his art by examining it closely; yes like Van Gogh he is under appreciated in his lifetime,and similarly this fact does not stop him creating marvellous paintings. I have been to major surrealist exhibitions and galleries in Europe, displaying surrealist Art, his paintings would not look out of place in these hallowed spaces. We have a home-grown artist talent in our midst, let’s give this living artist Carl Stafford the respect, admiration and recognition he richly deserves.
