Man arrested on suspicion of arson and criminal damage after police and fire crews called to Prestedge Avenue

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson and criminal damage following an incident in Ramsgate last night (August 9).

Kent Police was called at around 8.40pm to assist Kent Fire and Rescue Service in Prestedge Avenue, where a man is alleged to have attempted to set fire to a door inside a residential property.

Officers attended and arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of arson and criminal damage.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and the man remains in custody.

    Why do people do anything horrible even nasty comments on here are people with an attitude and anger. I mean in general.
    Council property round that road with kids. Teenager.. Needs jail and a course on what fire does for prevention.
