Police release images in Dane Park robbery investigation

Detectives investigating a robbery in Margate, have released computer generated images of three people they would like to speak to.

At about 3am on Monday 6 September, the victim reported that he was cycling through Dane Park with a friend when they came across three men, one of whom demanded they hand over their bikes.

One of the men tried to hit the victim before taking the bikes and making off towards the town centre.

The first man is described as white, about six feet one inch tall, with brown curly hair, wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and a red jumper.

The second man is described as white, between 25 and 35 years old, around five feet ten inches tall, and was wearing a dark blue ‘Nike’ cap, with a small silver tick on its right side.

The third man is described as black, between 25 and 35 years old, around five feet eight inches tall, wearing a khaki jacket.

  1. There have been some serious crimes committed in Dane Park over the years it’s about time good quality monitored CCTV was installed the type with the highest intensity spot lights fitted to let suspects know they have been seen.
    The biggest fear the low life have is being caught the above will ensure they are.

  2. Anderson Silva? Without being accused of victim blaming may I ask exactly why people are randomly cycling around at three in the morning? Does nobody sleep any longer? The only people you are likely to encounter at that time of the morning are lowlifes like this.

  3. Eight years a go we went to a friends wedding in Greenwich Park at around 9 pm one of the children was missing after the police were alerted the child was found in minutes. Very bright spot lights highlighted large areas of the park exactly where he was. Very impressed.
