Fire crews have attended a roof fire in Broadstairs caused by a lightning strike this morning (June 26).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a property in Weatherly Drive at 7.44am. Two fire engines attended and crews extinguished a small amount of roof insulation alight. There were no reported injuries.
Crews finished at the scene at 8.10am.
