St John’s Street in Margate is closed off following a gas leak.
SGN is carrying out ‘Emergency Gas Escape’ works. The road is expected to be closed until February 6.
SGN says: “In an emergency, our engineers will quickly and efficiently make the situation safe. We often need to work at short notice or at night. We’re sorry for the disruption our emergency work can cause, but safety is at the heart of everything we do.”
