Emergency services at scene of Margate crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash in Margate tonight (May 11).

Fire, police and ambulance were called to attend a two-vehicle collision in Marine Gardens. Two people were treated at the scene.

A section of the road, running up to the Marine Terrace roundabout is currently closed off.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a two-car crash in Marine Gardens,at 7.08pm.

“One fire engine attended and all occupants were out of the vehicles when it arrived. Two casualties were given first aid by fire crews before being passed into the care of SECAmb.  The fire engine left the scene at around 7.40pm.”

Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance have been contacted.
