Invite to Broadstairs dementia conference

A conference on dementia will be held in Thanet today (April 23).

The event, at The Yarrow in Broadstairs, has been organised by Caremark Thanet, a domiciliary care provider with offices in Margate, Kent. Caremark Thanet provides home care services throughout the Isle of Thanet.

It is estimated that in Thanet there are more than 2000 people living with dementia and this figure will rise to approximately 3000 in 2026. In Kent the figures are more than 22,000 people currently living with dementia, rising to over 30,000 in 2026.

The aim of the conference is to bring together a number of experts in dementia and related areas and an audience of people with an interest in the condition. The event is open  to the public.

It starts at 10am and runs through to approximately 1pm.
