Couple arrested in Ramsgate on suspicion of drug dealing

Two people have been arrested after police seized wraps of suspected class A drugs following a vehicle stop in Ramsgate.

Police stopped the car in Clements Road on Saturday (March 30). They searched the occupants and found 35 wraps of what is thought to be heroin. They also seized cash and several mobile phones.

The two were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply. A 50-year-old woman and 41-year-old man were both interviewed in connection with the offences before being released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

  1. Police could have a field day with arresting drug dealers in the shelters along Royal Esplanade, everyday if they wanted.

    • They could in the dead end bit of Turner street, almost hourly day & night…. even when we advertise our properties have cctv. It’s a bloody joke & they openly deal so blatantly. ????????????????
