Family appeal to find missing Margate man Lawrence Dale

Lawrence Dale

The son of a Cliftonville man who has been missing since Friday (March 29) is appealing for information on his whereabouts.

Lawrence Dale, 52, was last known to be making his way home to Cliftonville at 8.30pm after a few drinks in the Yard of Ale in St Peters.

He has not been seen since although there are unconfirmed sightings of him in Ramsgate on Saturday.

Son Tristan Hubbard is appealing for anyone who knows where his dad is to get in touch.

Tristan said the family is ‘hopeful’ that Lawrence, who works in damp-tech plastering and likes old fashioned pubs, will be found.

Kent Police is aware. A spokesman said: “At around 1.30pm on Saturday, 30 March police received a report that a 52-year-old man from Margate had gone missing. Enquiries are ongoing to locate him.”

  1. I hope Lawrence Dale is found safe and well – I knew him briefly a few years back and he is a lovely bloke. Please contact family or police if you have details of his whereabouts.
