A child has been taken to hospital following a crash in Margate this morning (December 17)

A police spokesman said: “Officers are at the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service where one person has been taken to a local hospital.”
An ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called at approximately 8.30am today to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Millmead Road, Margate.
“An ambulance crew attended the scene and one patient is being taken to William Harvey Hospital with injuries including a head wound.”
Hmmm . . . interesting use of the words “local hospital” by a spokesman to describe William Harvey Hospital in relation to Margate !
