A Ramsgate business will celebrate one year of trading by shaving one of the staff bald for charity!
Hair, There & Everywhere in King Street will mark the anniversary by raising funds for the National Autistic Society.
Mums Sarah Paulson and Abigail Price own the business and have children with autism and ADHD, prompting the pair to have specialised days especially for clients with children living with the condition.
Saarh said: “We chose to donate to the charity due to the work we do with the autism and ADHD clients. We have specialised days for them every 6 weeks but also cater for them all year round.
“It was important to us to have a relaxed salon with a child and autism friendly reputation. We both have autistic children and Anna has a boy with ADHD boy.
“We know as parents what it’s like to go for a haircut for our children, It is never as simple as just sitting in chair. We bring parents together who are going through the same thing and they have no need to feel that embarrassment of a meltdown as we are all there for same reasons.”
Hair, There and Everywhere nail technician Anna Reynolds will undergo the grade zero shave. The anniversary celebration will be held at the salon on Saturday (October 20) from 9.30am with the headshave at noon.
