A driver who crashed into a car in Ramsgate in the early hours of this morning (September 8) while being pursued by police then ran off from the scene.
The crash took place in Cliff Street at 1.44am.
It is understood there were two people in the vehicle which was hit but no injuries were reported.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was made aware of a collision between two vehicles at 1.44am in Cliff Street, Ramsgate.
“Prior to the collision one of the vehicles had come to the attention of officers and there was a short pursuit.
“One of the drivers was reported to have left the scene of the collision on foot and an area search was carried out however the driver was not located. No injuries were reported.”
