Time is running out for isle businesses to enter the Kent Tourism Awards 2018.
The awards, specifically for businesses, have categories for:
Rest your head – Small accommodation provider including B&B, self-catering, boutique etc
Taste and tell award – Restaurants, cafes, street food and food markets
Big sleep award – large accommodation (big hotels/holiday parks)
Big day out award – large visitor attractions
Hidden gem award – small visitor attractions
Raising the bar award – pubs
Lasting impression award – tourist experience, includes events, festivals, shopping etc
A judging panel will look at applications and customer reviews. And shortlisted applicants will then be decided by public vote.
The scheme is run by Visit Kent. The deadline for is 5pm tomorrow (September 9).
