Ramsgate RNLI was called out to a report of swimmers in difficulty tonight (July 3).
Two people are reported to be in trouble off Ramsgate main sands.
The Inshore Life Boat launched at around 8.50pm but was unable to find the swimmers. The All Weather Lifeboat and helicopter were called in for the search at 9.15pm.
The operation was stood down at 10.15pm after the two male swimmers were reported as being safe.
