Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Sweyn Road, Cliftonville, this afternoon at 1.36pm (June 10) to reports of smoke coming from a flat in Carlton Mansions.
Crews used hose reel jets to tackle the fire. The cause is believed to be an unattended candle. No injuries were reported and crews left the scene just before 2.30pm.
