East Kent Soccer School Under 7s

East Kent Football Club and Soccer School, based at St George’s school in Broadstairs, have just finished their first full season with teams from U6 – U12 and are now hoping to recruit new players.

The club has had excellent results including a recent 2-0 win at U11’s in the Plate final and a recent U10’s festival win.

New players are invited to visit a development day on Saturday, May 12 from 10am-11.30am at St Georges School.

There’s a separate training session for players who are serious about getting into a team from U6-U13s.

Coach Dave Marlow said: “We have supported a number of charities this year and will be holding a charity football match on Saturday, June 9 at St George’s to raise money and awareness for Beat – the eating disorder charity.

“Players and supporters are welcome to come along.

“EKKC is holding the end of season, annual presentation Saturday, June 23 and we are looking for budding chefs to make cakes for the day. We are appealing for small tombola prizes.”

The club, whose kit is sponsored by The Empire Room in Ramsgate, will have 10 teams next season
