Organisers of the Thanet Power of Women (POW) festival are planning next year’s event and calling for expressions of interest from artists and venues.
Anyone who has an idea for an event or exhibition that could become part of the next festival, whether in visual or performing arts ,is invited to get in touch.
POW! are looking for makers, practitioners, speakers, workshop leaders and performers across all genres with a focus on community groups, organisations and individuals who live and/or work in Thanet.
There are three informal sessions coming up where people can meet the team and find out more about next year’s festival, ask questions and put forward ideas.
Tuesday, May 22, 6pm-8pm – Kafeine, 35 Albion St, Broadstairs CT10 1LU.
Wednesday, May 23, 6pm-8pm – Vinyl Head, Addington St, Ramsgate CT11 9JN
Thursday, May 24, 6pm-8pm – MarMar, 80 Northdown Rd, Margate CT9 2RE

All events are subject to funding and all expressions of interest will be considered for inclusion in the festival. The closing date for expressions of interest is July 15.
