Police appeal after a woman is sexually assaulted in Ramsgate

Kent Police is appealing for information following a report that a woman was sexually assaulted in Ramsgate.

A man followed the victim as she walked in Westcliff Road and then London Road between 9.15pm and 9.30pm on Monday, April 9.

The suspect then inappropriately touched her when she was at the corner of Minster Road and London Road. He walked off in the direction of the town centre after being challenged by her.

The man is described as being white and around 5ft 10ins tall with a slim build. He had stubble on his face and was wearing a long, black coat with the hood pulled up. He is believed to be in his 30s.
