More than 200 customers have been hit by a power cut this evening (April 20).
The affected area is in Broadstairs and St Peter’s running from Rumsfields Road, Asda and surrounding areas in the CT10 postcode.
Staff were reportedly evacuated from the store.
It has been caused by an underground electricity cable that has faulted on the high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut.
The estimated time for the power to be restored is between 10pm and 11pm.
