A call out for Ramsgate lifeboat crew to a yacht aground on Ramsgate main sands this evening (April 20) turned out to be a false alarm.
The crew was called at around 8.05pm but when they reached the vessel they found i was actually anchored and fishing.
The lifeboat was released by UK Coastguard and returned to station.
