Ramsgate man charged with robbery, weapon and drug offences

A 24-year-old man is to appear in court charged with robberies in Ramsgate and Canterbury.

Patrick Moss, of Hereson Road in Ramsgate, was charged on Sunday, April 8 with seven offences.

The charges are:

  • The robbery of a convenience store in Wincheap during the evening of Saturday 7 April in which alcohol was reported stolen.
  • Two counts of robbery and two counts of possessing a knife, relating to an incident at Tesco in Hereson Road,  on 12 December 2017 in which cash and cigarettes were reported stolen.
  • He was also charged with possession of cannabis and a public order offence relating to an incident in Ten Perch Road in Wincheap on Saturday 7 April.

Mr Moss is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court via virtual link  today (April 9)
