This year’s Junior boat fishing competition in aid of Ramsgate RNLI will take place on Friday, August 24 between 10am and 2pm.
The competition, sailing from Ramsgate harbour, is for youngsters aged up to 15 and angling experience is not necessary as there will be experienced anglers on hand to help and advise.
Competitors will be asked to get sponsors and will be provided with sponsor forms. As little as £10 is all that is needed and all money raised goes to Ramsgate RNLI.
Last year a total of over £3000 was raised for Ramsgate RNLI and local firms and individuals were generous with donations of prizes and food for the barbecue afterwards.
A trophy is awarded to the winning Skipper.
