Minster rapist Alan Nayor jailed for attacks on teenage girl

Jailed: Rapist Alan Naylor

A rapist has been jailed for more than 13 years after he assaulted a teenage girl in Margate.

Alan Naylor, of Brockman’s Close in Minster, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape at Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday 7 December 2017. The charges relate to the rape of a child at a property in Margate in July 2017.

The 35-year-old knew his victim and left her completely terrified following the attack. She ran out of the property and into the street where she asked a stranger for help.

A man let her use his mobile phone so that she could call the police and Naylor was arrested.

On Friday 9 March he was sentenced to 13-and-a-half years in prison at Canterbury Crown Court. He will serve an additional four years on licence upon his release.

Detective Constable Jennifer Brightman said: “I hope this lengthy sentence provides some comfort to victims of sexual abuse that we will do everything we can to make sure those who commit such horrific crimes like this are sent to prison.”

  1. Let’s not say much above our breath, or we’ll have our Facebook accounts deleted and be prosecuted for inciting hate…oh hang on…he’s white non-muslim, so that’s alright then! We can condemn him without fear of any comebacks.
