Margate ‘mini-market’ store to be sold at auction

The mini market will go to auction on February 6

The mini market store in Margate High Street is to go under the hammer.

The shop and living accommodation has a guide price of £190,000 plus fees for vacant possession freehold.

Auctioneers Clive Emson say it is: “A substantial three storey property located in Margate’s busy high street, close to national retailers including Nationwide, Boots Opticians and Santander.

“The property has traded for many years as a successful convenience store with accommodation on the upper floors and has some double glazed windows.

“It is considered that there may be potential to extend the building on the upper floors (rear) to create larger living accommodation or, possibly, a separate residential unit, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.”

The auction will be held on February 6 at 11am at The Clive Emson Conference Room in Maidstone.
