A road in Broadstairs was closed due to a collision between a bike and a car this morning (December 22).
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A256 Westwood Road at 8.55am. It was closed both ways between A254 Margate Road and Northwood Road. The accident was by the Enterprise rent a car premises.
Police directed traffic while the incident was dealt with.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 8:55am to a report of a collision between a motorbike and a car on Westwood Road, Broadstairs.
“Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital for injuries that have been described as minor.”
